The law enforcement agency in Nigeria had discovered a 1.8 tons of cocaine estimated to be worth $278m in a secret warehouse in the Ikorodu area.
Some Nigerian men aged 69, 65, and two 53-year-olds were arrested in relation to the cocaine case.
NDLEA reporters made it known that the suspects were planning to sell the seized drugs to buyers in Europe, Asia, and other parts of the world.
The drugs were also seen stored in 10 travel bags and 13 drums.
“The bust is a historical blow to the drug cartels and a strong warning that they’ll all go down if they fail to realize that the game has changed”
